This home features an HAI Omni Pro II automation controller. The home has four HAI thermostats that control separate systems. An "Omni Touch" screen, a Samsung Q1 Ultra Mobile PC running HAI Snap Link software, and an Omni standard keypad can be utilized to communicate with the controller, which can also be controlled via any in house telephone. Remote operation of the homes systems can be controlled by cell phone or any computer utilizing the HAI Snap Link software. Heating and cooling are monitored constantly and adjusted for maximum savings throughout the year. Just by arming the Omni Pro II when you are away from the home will lower thermostat settings for added savings.

The home boasts several motion sensors used to perform many tasks throughout the home, such as hallway illumination, room lighting, music control, and security. All of the homes outdoor lighting is controlled by the Omni Pro II, which will turn on outside lights to 50% at dusk and turn off outside lights at dawn. Garage doors are just one of many things that can be remotely operated and monitored from anywhere in the world. This home will actually call the owners cell phone when a garage door is left open and the security system is armed, at such time the owner can access the system and close the garage door.

The featured home has Speakercraft speakers and a Russound whole house audio system installed; which is capable of supplying audio to six different zones throughout the house. The Russound system can also provide up to six different sources of audio to each room with independent control through out the home. Motion sensed in the garage will turn on music in the garage and will shut off the music when no motion is sensed for 15 minutes. Audio control is done by the "Omni Touch" screen or by the Russound room controls located in each zone of the home. (Russound room controller pictured at right)

Photo at left shows front door camera that broadcasts to all televisions in the home, several other cameras are monitored inside and outside the home. This project took advantage of the homes Ethernet network to interface the Omni Pro II with a media center pc in the home that  runs the HAI Media Center Home Control software, which allows total control of the home.  The Media Center pc has a remote control that can be used to control all aspects of the Omni Pro II features. The home also boasts a Microsoft X-Box 360 that interfaces with the Media Center PC to allow full control of the home from the X-Box console.
